More wires
After a final sanding session last night, the transoms are now ready to be stitched onto each end of the Passagemaker. After hearing that this is a job best done by two people, I made sure to be ready to do it before my wife's work schedule makes her unavailable for another week. So tonight we will wire in the transoms, which will give the still flexible hull more shape and rigidity. That will pave the way for this weekend, which will be the first use of epoxy thickened with "wood flour" or processed sawdust. In this application, the aim is to achieve a "peanut butter" consistency. The thickened epoxy will then be applied in fillets along the transom joints as sort of a weld. Total hours 27.25.
