Transoms

The next step in boat construction is the installations of transoms. Since I am a little out of sequence, these won't be ready to go on for another day or so. I have one coat of epoxy on both sides of the bow, and one coat on one side of the stern. So today, both got sanded on the last side coated, and then got another coat. Temps are hovering in the upper 60s today, so it was good weather for doing this. I'll have to get a second coat on both sides before they can be wired into the hull.

Yesterday was a much needed day of cleanup and organization. Quarter sheets of sandpaper- both unused and spent-along with dust and other detritus of the building project were everywhere. I took a good afternoon to get things in a little better order before continuing on.

Hope 2006 is a great year for everyone! Total hours 26.25.
